exactly, if you read the caption, you might be surprised, or no haha who knows. but propably you're. so my answer is yes, you can make a yeast cake without eggs, milk or butter! and it's so simple, you know?
i have my pears from my grandma's garden, so they're not as big as regular pears, this is the reason why i added a little bit more of them than in the recipe :) remember that you're a baker in your kitchen and you can add whatever you want to your cake, you don't have to use pears if you don't like them, or just don't have them in home. perfect will be also plums, apples, rhubarb or even raspberries!
this is the recipe which i used:
1/2 cup of plant based milk
50 g fresh yeast
1/2 cup of soaked dates
1/2 cup of coconut oil
1 banana
2 and 1/2 cup of flour of your choice, i used corn flower
2 tsp of cinnamon
2 big pears (or more if u want)
50 g cashews
heat the milk, crush yeast and pour it into it. mix and leave for 10 minutes in the warm place to grow.
mash the banana with fork. blend it with the oil and dates. add milk with with yeast, flour and cinnamon. make the dough so that it does not stick. add more flour if it's needed. cover it and leave for 30 min to grow.
peel the pears and remove the seeds. cut it into thin slices. roast cashews. in the same pan, fry the pears with 1 tbsp of oil. fry to soft pears. mix cashews and pears together, leave to cool down.
lecture the tinware with baking paper. lecture the dough, and spread the top with milk and cinnamon. evenly add the pears at the top.
bake in 180'C for 50 minutes, to gold top.
enjoy!
